New England Farm Guide Terms of Service
Last updated: May 6, 2026
These terms explain how you may use New England Farm Guide, a farm directory, map, and seasonal planning guide. By using the site or signing in, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
About the service
New England Farm Guide publishes farm listings, maps, seasonal guides, crop and activity filters, saved farm tools, photos, and links to outside sources. The site is for personal trip planning and general informational use.
Farm information changes quickly
We work to make listings helpful and current, but farm hours, weather, crop availability, events, admission, reservations, parking, pet rules, accessibility, and field conditions can change without notice. Before relying on time-sensitive details, confirm with the farm or another official source.
Your visit is your responsibility
Farm visits can involve real-world conditions such as changing weather, uneven ground, insects, allergens, animals, tools, equipment, water, roads, traffic, and other ordinary travel or outdoor risks. You are responsible for deciding whether a farm, route, activity, or outing is appropriate for you and anyone traveling with you.
Accounts and Google Sign-In
You may sign in with Google to use optional account features such as saved farms. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under your account. We may limit or close accounts that appear to violate these terms, create security risk, or misuse the service.
Acceptable use
Please use the site in a way that is lawful, respectful, and reasonable. You agree not to:
- Interfere with, overload, reverse engineer, or try to break the site or its security.
- Access accounts, systems, or information you are not authorized to access.
- Submit false, misleading, unlawful, harmful, infringing, or abusive content.
- Scrape, copy, or reuse site content in a way that harms the service or violates another party's rights.
- Use the site to harass farms, visitors, site operators, or anyone else.
Submitted content
If you send a listing update, farm claim, contact message, photo suggestion, review, correction, or other content, you confirm that you have the right to provide it. You give New England Farm Guide a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, edit, verify, display, publish, and archive that content as needed to operate, improve, promote, and protect the guide.
We may decline, edit, or remove submitted content at our discretion, including content that appears inaccurate, promotional, unlawful, unsafe, or inconsistent with the guide.
Site content and intellectual property
The site design, copy, maps, organization, original photos, logos, and other content belong to New England Farm Guide or its licensors unless otherwise noted. You may use the site for personal planning, but you may not copy, resell, republish, or build a competing dataset from the site without permission.
Third-party sites and services
The guide may link to farm websites, social pages, map providers, ticketing tools, email services, analytics tools, and authentication providers such as Google. Those services are not controlled by New England Farm Guide, and their own terms, policies, fees, and rules apply.
No professional advice
The site is a planning guide, not professional advice. It is not legal, medical, safety, weather, accessibility, agricultural, transportation, or emergency advice. Use your judgment and check official sources when details matter.
Availability and changes
We may change, correct, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time. We may also update listings, remove content, or limit access when needed to operate the service, comply with law, protect rights or safety, or respond to misuse.
Disclaimers
The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, New England Farm Guide disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limits of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, New England Farm Guide and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, site downtime, listing errors, third-party actions, or decisions you make based on site content.
Some places do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you. In that case, liability is limited to the greatest extent allowed by law.
Responsibility for misuse
If your misuse of the site, violation of these terms, or submitted content causes a claim, loss, or expense, you agree to be responsible for it to the extent allowed by law.
Updates to these terms
We may update these terms as the site changes. The date above will show the latest version. Continued use of the site after updates means the updated terms apply.
